Terms of use
By creating an account and using Python Lab, you agree to the terms below issued by Python Lab ("we").
1. The service
Python Lab is an online platform for learning Python: lessons, auto-graded exercises, tests, classes, an AI Tutor and other features. Most content is free; some features belong to paid plans (Pro, Family, Teacher).
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity on your account. Do not share, sell or rent accounts. We may lock accounts that break these terms.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the code runner to attack systems, mine cryptocurrency, scan networks, send spam or overload the service. Do not try to bypass AI limits, rate limits or the grading system. Do not post unlawful content.
4. AI Tutor
AI answers may be inaccurate and are for learning guidance only. Check them by running your code. Do not send sensitive personal information to the AI Tutor.
5. Classes
Teachers are responsible for the assignments, tests and feedback in their own classes. Students in a class covered by a teacher license get Pro access while they are class members and the license is valid.
6. Certificates
Completion certificates issued by Python Lab only confirm that you completed content on the platform. They are not degrees, professional certifications or state-recognized qualifications.
7. Content ownership
Lessons, exercises and the interface belong to us. Code you write yourself belongs to you.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it stable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
9. Changes to these terms
We announce changes on the website. Continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.
