Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Python Lab collects and how it is used.
1. Data we collect
- Account information: username, display name, interface language, password (stored only as a scrypt hash that nobody can read).
- Learning data: submissions, scores, lesson progress, notes, class work.
- Questions sent to the AI Tutor and its answers.
- Orders and payments: order code, amount, transfer description, bank transaction reference. We never store card numbers or banking passwords.
- Technical data: IP address and access times, for security and abuse prevention.
2. Who can see learning data
- Teachers see the work and scores of students in their own classes only, never other teachers' classes.
- A Family plan owner only sees the progress of members who agreed to share it, and never sees their passwords or code.
- Students cannot see other students' work.
3. Purposes
To provide learning services, grade work, activate paid plans, support learners, prevent fraud and improve quality.
4. Sharing
- AI Tutor questions (with the code you send and the name of the page you have open) are sent to the AI provider (Google Gemini API) to generate answers.
- We do not sell personal data.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on our servers, accessed over HTTPS and backed up regularly. Code you run executes in an isolated environment without network access.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data via the contact channel shown on the website. Transaction data may have to be kept under accounting rules.
7. Cookies
We only use the cookie needed to keep you signed in and store your language and theme choice in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
